Shealy Environmental Services Inc.
marches towards another EPA contract.
Shealy Environmental Services Inc. has been an active
participant in the USEPA Contract Laboratory Program since 2001 for
Organics. Currently, Shealy
maintains a contract for the SOM01.2 SOW. With recent PE scores of 95.6 and
a successful audit in July of 2009 by the USEPA Superfund Division, Shealy
anticipates an award for the new ISM01.1 Inorganic USEPA contract. Like the
Organics counterpart, ISM01.1 will require full SEDD deliverables.

Shealy’s new USEPA CLP SOM
PSA Scores
Shealy Labs receives new performance scores from the US EPA
CLP Program. The Performance
Scheduling Algorithms (PSAs) are a combination of on time performance and
quality for recently completed analyses.

Shealy Environmental Services Inc.
completes new DoD Audit
Lab Accreditation Bureau (L-A-B) under contract with the
Department of Defense (DoD) performed a 4 man-day audit of Shealy
Environmental Services Inc. for QSM 4.1 compliance and approval.
Shealy’s current approval runs through Dec 2009. It is anticipated that the new approval
process will be completed by 10/09.
L-A-B Summary report:
“Shealy Environmental Laboratory has demonstrated
competency in the field of environmental testing to the specific methods
listed in their scope and to DoD QSM Version 4.1. It appears very clearly that Shealy
Environmental Services has embraced the requirements of the DoD QSM,
understands, and follows them well. Shealy Environmental Services Quality
and Technical staff has demonstrated a high commitment to compliance with
DoD Version 4.1 and overall good laboratory practice.”
