Shealy Environmental
Services, Inc. (“Shealy”) was founded in 1982 with the vision
of establishing a full-service environmental laboratory. Since that
beginning, Shealy has built one of the largest single environmental
laboratory facilities in the country.
We are a service oriented
company dedicated to providing on-time, legally defensible data at a
competitive cost. Fields of testing
include: RCRA, CLP, NPDES, Drinking Water, UST, Toxicology and field
services/sampling. Shealy is
financially strong and this has allowed the company to grow when many other
environmental testing laboratories are constricting. We continuously invest in facility
enhancements, new instrumentation, software, and computer systems to keep
current with the latest technology.
Shealy currently employees
over 70 chemists and professionals dedicated to maintaining over 150 active
clients ranging from municipalities to DOE, DOD and some of the largest
Superfund sites in the country.
Shealy has been an active participant in the US EPA Contract
Laboratory Program (CLP) since 2001 and the EPA routinely scores Shealy at
or near the top of all CLP labs for quality and on-time performance. Shealy’s current USEPA contract
runs through 2010 for the analysis of multi-media, multi-concentration
organic compounds in water and solid samples by SOM01.2.
In a continuous effort to be
a leader in the environmental testing field, Shealy maintains the latest
testing technologies and instrumentation and is continuously upgrading
instrumentation to provide the most accurate and legally defensible data to
the end user. Our value-added
services include comprehensive project management, expedited analysis, and
sophisticated laboratory information management system (LIMS) output. We can deliver comprehensive quotations,
sample acknowledgement reports, and preliminary and final data reports via
email in “non-scanned” Adobe Acrobatâ PDF format and full
on-line data access.
We have extensive experience with projects requiring
site-specific data quality objectives, with reporting formats ranging from
Level 1 (results only) to Level 4 (CLP-like) data packages. We can provide Excel, ASCII, EQUIS, GIS,
and numerous other EDDs ranging from basic spreadsheets to SEDD stage 3.
